1977

Malcolm Nourse takes ownership.

Today

Nearly 50 years later, Kennedy continues to be family-owned & operated. Now, by Malcolm’s sons; David & Scott Nourse.

Kennedy Ford opened its doors in 1963 as the first Ford dealership in Oakville.

Kennedy Ford was acquired 14 years later by Malcolm Nourse in 1977, now with the dealership being run by Malcolm’s sons David & Scott. At our family-owned and operated dealership, our secret to over 50 years of success has always been truly valuing your business and supporting our community.

We live in Oakville, work in Oakville, and give back to Oakville and our surrounding areas. We strongly believe in supporting our community, and we’re doing this through supporting local Oakville children’s sports teams such as “Oakville Little League Baseball” and coming up, the “Oakville Rangers” Hockey teams!

We are also proud to have supported the work of several local charities: The annual “Toy Mountain” toy drive, #WeScareHunger food drive, our COVID-19 mask Donation to the Oakville Memorial Hospital. and most recently, our donation through Kennedy National Leasing to the 2024 HORSEPOWER 4 HOSPITAL; an exotic car show in support of Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington.

Our charitable work paired with the experience we give every customer has allowed us to proudly win countless Ford President’s Award’s and maintain being the highest rated Ford dealer in Oakville on Google.

Kennedy Ford is also proud of the ability to serve a special group of fans – the performance enthusiasts. As Oakville’s only Ford Performance dealership, people have traveled to us for the Ford Raptor and Shelby GT500. And, as an authorized dealer of Ceramic Pro, we help car collectors protect these performance vehicles.

Since 1963 a lot has changed such as the addition of an in-house leasing department “Kennedy National Leasing” which has the ability to create a custom lease to perfectly suit your personal or business needs and the ability to now complete the entire car buying process online and delivery right to your front door.

One thing that hasn’t changed though is being a family-owned and operated dealership.

Over 45 years later since being acquired by Malcolm Nourse in 1977, Kennedy Ford is now run by his sons; David and Scott Nourse as the Dealer Principals.
